Why do we use the FMS at MOVE?  Before we can answer WHY, we probably should explain WHAT is the FMS.  The FMS is the Functional Movement Screen. The screen was first used in 1998 as a tool to help physical therapist Gray Cook and his team of health professionals rate and rank the movement patterns of high school athletes.
